How do I separate rap video lip sync from changed lyrics?

Before judging rap video lip sync, listen without watching. Are the intended words actually present? Is a name pronounced differently, or has the model created another line? If the soundtrack changed, comparing the mouth to the original recording can look like a timing error when it is really a different performance.

Then watch the finished video with its own sound. Look at a few clearly spoken moments rather than trying to inspect every syllable at once. A mouth moving generally to a beat is not the same as visibly forming the words. You are checking an impression of speech, not just whether something on screen moves.

Does rap video lip sync change with the player or headphones?

Download the result and play it in a local player as well as the browser. If you are listening through wireless audio, compare with the device speaker or a wired connection. A playback setup can make the sound feel delayed, so one viewing condition should not be your only evidence.

If the same mismatch remains in the saved file across playback methods, record the moment where it is most obvious. Note whether the whole clip seems offset or only particular words look wrong. This gives you a more useful description for support or a later edit than “the sync is bad.”

  • Compare the downloaded video with the in-browser player.
  • Listen at normal speed before inspecting individual frames.
  • Note a specific timestamp and what appears out of step.

What should I check in my audio reference?

Return to the section you selected. Check whether the first word was cut, the voice was buried under the beat, or several people spoke over one another. A clear source makes your intended performance easier to judge, though it does not guarantee that the model will reproduce the same words or timing.

If you choose to generate again, use a complete, understandable phrase of the supported length. Do not assume an instrumental break gives the model enough information about how a missing vocal should look. The own-song workflow uses an audio reference; it is not a precise remapping of your existing recording onto a face.

Does the photo show enough of the mouth?

Look at both the source photo and your scene description. A side-facing portrait, a hand over the lips or a microphone covering the mouth leaves less visible information. The same applies when your prompt asks for frequent turns, smoke or rapid camera changes during the important words.

For a simpler next attempt, consider a clear portrait and a steady front-facing performance with modest gestures. This reduces distractions when you review the result. It is a practical testing choice, not a validated promise that a particular pose will solve a synchronization defect.

Who is supposed to be speaking in the duo?

Rap video lip sync in a duo also involves identifying the speaker. The wrong person may appear to speak, both mouths may move during one line, or one generated voice may cover both roles. Watch each person separately, then together, to distinguish timing from role assignment or a changed audio arrangement.

Keep a future request simple if you decide to try again: one short opening and one response, with consistent left and right roles. The current duo workflow does not expose independent audio tracks or a timeline for assigning syllables to each face, so do not look for controls that are not present.

Should I edit the result, report it or try again?

An external editor may help when you have established a simple constant offset, but moving a soundtrack cannot repair every incorrect mouth shape or a rewritten lyric. Adding captions also does not change the performance. Compare any edited version carefully before deciding that the mismatch has been resolved.

Keep the original download and report a technical issue with the project reference and a concise description. A completed but imperfect video is not automatically a failed job. If another generation is your choice, review its new quote and change a relevant input rather than repeatedly spending credits on the same unclear setup.

Ask our support team
Does the studio guarantee accurate rap video lip sync?

No. The model generates a performance, and mouth movement can be inaccurate even when the job completes. Review the actual sound and picture together. Public examples demonstrate individual clips rather than guaranteed timing for every request.

Is this a tool for fixing a video I already made?

No. This page explains how to inspect results and prepare inputs. The current studio does not accept an existing video for a dedicated lip-sync repair pass or let you adjust individual mouth movements on a timeline.

Why do the lips seem wrong when I replay my original song?

The generated soundtrack may differ from the reference recording. First compare the mouth against the audio actually included in the downloaded video. Replacing that audio with the source can create a separate mismatch.

Can captions fix rap video lip sync?

Captions can help viewers understand the actual words, but they do not fix mouth movement. Check captions against the generated audio instead of copying your intended lyrics without listening.

Should I slow the rap down?

A less crowded phrase may be easier to evaluate, but this is not a guaranteed fix. Shorten the wording or choose a clearer source section if appropriate, then judge the result. Do not assume a slower request always produces accurate synchronization.

Can I get a refund just because a completed clip looks imperfect?

A confirmed failed job and a completed result with imperfections are handled differently. Keep the project reference and report a technical issue for review. The refund policy describes the applicable process; another generation is not automatically free.
